Darwin, Tortoises, and the Natural Selection
Charles Darwin studied tortoises on the Galapagos Islands.
He discovered that tortoises’ shells and necks are shaped differently on different islands. This led to the development of his theory.
This week, kids read about natural selection and draw the two types of tortoises that Darwin observed.
